Gilbert Ornelas, Joe Giglia, Leroy Chavez
It’s that fear of getting lost, or caught somewhere unknown after dark that keeps hunters only a stones throw from roads or known trails. It’s that fear that limits opportunities. It’s that SAME fear that leaves so many of us wondering, what if? Becoming a point of failure for success. In this episode the ElkBros talk about how you can eliminate that fear, putting yourself in more and better positions to kill an elk. They discuss the reasons for the fear, the skill sets needed when navigating in the woods and how the GPS has totally changed the game, giving hunters the ability to go where no hunter has gone before. Show Notes

It's hard to be confident in anything you are doing if you don't know the rules to the game. When it comes to elk hunting we all have access to the laws and guidelines that govern each state, but what about the unwritten rules?  The norms, expectations and the etiquette that exists to insure safety and a good experience for all?
In part 7 of their Elk Hunting Confidence series, Gilbert, Chav and Joe discuss all aspects of etiquette while hunting public land. From encounters with other hunters to the different ways respect is to be shown for the animals, land, and people. Including those partners that you have in your own camp.
